Internationally acclaimed Cuban pianist Alfredo Rodríguez was born in Havana and trained in both classical studies and popular music. In 2006, he was discovered by Quincy Jones at the Montreux Jazz Festival and went on to receive a GRAMMY® nomination. With his trio, he blends jazz, Cuban roots and contemporary virtuosity, creating intense and engaging performances. In ¡Take Cover! (2026), he reinvents famous pop songs through an Afro-Cuban jazz lens, combining improvisation with irresistible rhythms.
